Rehearsal Venue

Rehearsals are at The Village Hall, Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP3 8QG, to which there is superb road access. There is parking in the adjacent local shopping centre, and behind the hall, to the right. All facilities are at ground level. There is an entry-phone on the front door of the hall. Rehearsal night is Monday, at 7.45 for 8.00, usually in the small hall. For visitors, it would be best to arrive after 8.15, and it would be wise to check that we are there on the night of your choice. (We skip some public holidays, for example.) See Contacts

Directions from outside Hemel Hempstead:-

From the M25 (clockwise or anti-clockwise) :- exit at J21 and take the M1 to The North, and exit at Junction 8 the first junction. Then follow the directions below from the M1.

From the A414/M10 :- as you merge with the M1 stay on the inside lane so that you leave the M1 immediately at Junction 8. Then follow the directions below from the M1

From the M1 ( north or south ) :- exit at Junction 8 onto the A414. Take the second exit at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout turn LEFT onto the A4147. At the top of the hill, pass a petrol station on the left and immediately after the traffic lights turn LEFT into the shopping centre parking. The Village Hall is then ahead of you and the Leather Bottle pub is on your right.

From the A41, exit at the Hemel Hempstead junction (A414). Drive approx 2 ½ miles on the A414 until you see a right turn for the A4147 to St Albans, on a roundabout. Turn RIGHT here. At the top of the hill, pass petrol station on the left and immediately after the traffic lights turn LEFT into the shopping centre parking. The Village Hall is then ahead of you and the Leather Bottle pub is on your right.
